This incandescent unit will "flame" a bacteriological loop and the edge of a culture tube. It is plugged into the electrical outlet inside the chamber and is operated by foot switch that is attached to the IFD and routed through the chamber wall via a feed through adapter or utility nipple. Operated only momentarily, the device will have little or no effect on the chamber temperature.
NOTE: Extra feed through adapter is standard on all COY Glove Boxes when this device is purchased. This accommodates the cord for the foot switch.
