This accessory is designed to prevent moisture being drawn into the Vacuum Pump. If you've experienced problems with Airlock, or any other equipment, "blowing fuses" or "the pump is frozen", this may be because the Pump has drawn moisture out of the Airlock and into the Pump causing rust to form on the cylinder walls. The Moisture Trap is an economical way to maintain your more expensive equipment with little or no maintenance required. The Coy Moisture Trap Assembly may be installed at the factory with the original glove box order, or added later by the customer.
